I had a very interesting class last night. I asked my students to work in teams and practice using a multivariable chart format to depict one of the short stories we had read in class so far. The purpose of this exercise was to use a specific form of visual thinking as a means of critically examining a theme or character. This visual format is one of the 21 formats I’ve introduced in class.
